Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake with Baba Mandir Excursion – 52kms in 3hrs - One way
(Timing: 7.30AM to 2.30PM). After breakfast drive to Tsomgo Lake (Alt 12000ft/3600M), a
high altitude alpine lake close to Indo-China Border. Enjoy playing in snow and try Yak Ride
and proceed further to Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Overnight at Gangtok.
Gangtok to Pelling - After Breakfast transfer from Gangtok to Pemayangtse (116
kms / 05 hrs). on the way Rabangla arrive Pemayantse Check in hotel. Evening take a
pleasant walk enjoying the sun set over Mt. Khangchendzonga. Stay Overnight hotel
Pelling. After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village,
Rimbi water Falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake &
Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse
Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Pelling to Darjeeling (90 km / 04 hrs) arrival Darjeeling -the British developed hill
resort , producer of world famous tea Once the summer capital of India , Darjeeling is a
land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature
charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the
highest peaks of the Himalayas . Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate
the new culture you are in. Evening free to explore the town. Overnight at Hotel.
Sightseeing of Darjeeling: Early morning tour to Tiger Hill (at around 4 am) to view
sunrise over mighty Kanchenjunga. The view is splendid on clear weather day. On the way
back, take a look at Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. Afternoon visit to Himalayan
Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Gumbu Rock
site and Tibetan Refugee self-help (Closed on Sunday) Center Tea Estate. Overnight hotel.
Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station, 90kms in 3hrs – Check out
from Darjeeling and drive back to NJP/Bagdogra. Farewell and tour ends.
